All of the options for reducing file size and using PDF Optimizer are disabled/greyed out. I am using Acrobat Professional 7.0 and my co-worker is having the same results with 8.0. Is there a patch we can download or some other way to fix this?

My Product Information:
Acrobat Pro 7.0.8, Windows

Sounds like there may be security applied to the PDF document. Are you sure the file can be edited?

I am having the same problem. I have a single-page pdf form that I created in LiveCycle Designer. To test the form, I have already enabled usage rights and distributed it, but that's it. No other security is on the document. I would now like to try and use pdf optimizer, but it's disabled. I tried "Save a Copy" without the usage rights, but still no luck. How to get pdf optimizer back? Do I have to use it BEFORE I enable usage rights and distribute?

LiveCycle Designer form includes XML forms that is not supported within the standard PDF format. There are numerous Acrobat features and JavaScript properties and methods not available to LiveCycle Designer forms.
