Hello Everybody!
  
I ask myself if there is a way to create PDF/A 2 with Distiller X.(ps2pdf/a 2)
The chooseable profiles in the "PDF Standard-Settings"-Area are all just for PDF/A 1....... Is there a way to import profiles for PDF/A 2 standard?

No, there is no way to produce PDF/A-2 via the Distiller (i.e., via distillation of PostScript into PDF). Note that the Distiller does not support live transparency.

In Acrobat X, creation of PDF/A-2 can only be done by saving an existing PDF file as a PDF/A-2 file or by using the preflight functions.

Hello Dov!

Thanks for your answer.... so i have to go the "long" way and save the pdf with acrobat... that makes me sad, because then i cant work with surveillanced folders. however, thanks for your quick help.

You can create an Action in Acrobat X to grab all files from a specific folder and then apply PDF/A-2 changes and save those files back into the folder.
