In Acrobat 7, when we added a custom property to a MS OFFICE document and it would be replicated in the PDF file.
 
How can I persist a custom property when converting from MS office to Acrobat 8.

Funny ! I just posted a similar question. sorry I didn't find your topic to be able to expand on it.

I am using Word 2007, but I have the same problem about the custom properties disappearing. I have found out though that if you choose the "Quick & simple" option the custom properties transfer to the pdf - if you use the "Fully functional" option, they do not transfer.I hope this helps a bit.
