PostScript Error when trying to create PDFs in Acrobat 8.1.3

I recently started getting the following error when trying to create a PDF:

%%[ Error: undefined; OffendingCommand: setdistillerparams; ErrorInfo: CalCMYKProfile U.S. Web Coated (SWOP) v2 ]%%
%%[ Flushing: rest of job (to end-of-file) will be ignored ]%%
Error accessing color profile: U.S. Web Coated (SWOP) v2
%%[ Warning: PostScript error. No PDF file produced. ] %%

I've never had a problem with ADobe Acrobat until now and this just came up out of nowhere. I've made no software of hardware changes, so can't seem to pinpoint any action that would cause this. Doesn't matter what method I use to try to create PDFs, or what program I'm trying to create PDFs from (Word, Excel, IE, etc.) I get the same error message.

Windows XP, SP3
Acrobat Pro 8.1.3

Please Help! Thanks!

Just a thought -
Look over your Distiller job options.
When processing files it is possible to inadvertently change the job option.
(something that's happened to me on occassion 8^( )

The Distiller log file information you posted is indicative of a job option such as
PDF/A-1b:2005(CMYK), PDF/X-1a:2001, and PDF/X-3:2002.

If the authoring file has features meant to be passed into the output PDF
but these features are not compliant with the criteria of PDF/A or PDF/X
then the Distiller run will fail.

Be well...

All, I found the solution to this problem at the following web address. The great thing is that the solution was quick and easy...it's just difficult to find. I found it with the help of another user on the Adobe forums.
