Hi,
i am using acrobat 8 to generate pdf document from powerpoint slides.
I have title slides and standard slides simply defined with slide masters.
When i generate the pdf, all slides get bookmarked which is great but they all have the same level.
Is it possible to have automatically the title slides indexed as first level bookmarks and standard ones as second level bookmarks ?

I haven't found anything yet and if someone can save me some nights writing javascript i'd be thankful

To pre-stage nested bookmarks in an output PDF the authoring application has to provide a selection of paragraph headings & styles or tags (such as used in FrameMaker, etc.) In MS Word you have Headings (Heading 1, Heading 2) and Styles (Normal, etc.). The Adobe PDFMaker is able to "see" these unique entities and provides you with the ability to set up desired nesting. This can be seen in the PDFMaker for MS Word. However, MS PowerPoint does not provide paragraph headings or styles.
The text font, font size and font color can be changed but it is still the same "style". You'd have the same behavior (no nested bookmarks) if you only used the "Normal" style in Word but altered the font size to simulate different headings and asked PDFMaker to make PDF bookmarks from these.
