Print Lotus Ami Pro to PDF

When I try to print a .SAM document to PDF, I receive a an error message which says "AmiPrint could not begin printing". However, Ami Pro prints to a standard printer and also MS Office Document Printer.

In the Adobe PDF Conversion settings I have tried "standard" and most of the other options including one called "Lotus AmiPro Trial. I have not tried to edit this option because I have no idea of what most of the settings mean.

Please tell me how to proceed to print from AmiPro document .SAM to PDF.

I am using Windows XP Pro, Acrobat Pro v 6, AmiPro v 3.

Besides taking a trial of Acrobat 8 @ adobe.com (full functional for 30-days) - have you tried changing the properties of the Adobe PDF printer to print-to-file and dropping into Acrobat Distiller manually?
