Prints B&W only

For some reason my brand new ADobe Acrobat 8.0 only "prints" or creates a file in B&W. All of my colours are being lost. I know it's in the settings somewhere but cannot for the life of me figure it out. I upgraded from Acrobat 6.0

My Product Information:
Acrobat Pro 8.1.2, Windows

On the Print dialog, towards the bottom left, there is a "Print Color as Black" option.

I'm not sure, but there could be another option for this somewhere else as well.

Hmmmm. No, it's not that. It's that it's creating B&W pdf documents out of coloured documents. I cannot for the life of me figure out what is happening.

This sounds like a printer issue to me. Have you checked all the print settings?

I have and as far as I can tell they are all OK. I looked at the settings in Distiller AND Acrobat and cannot see anything amiss.
