Greetings,
This is a great forum and I just want to say thanks to those volunteers and others who make it possible.
After ongoing problems with Pro 8, I decided to buy Pro 9 Extended. Got it last night, and the good news is that it does all it is promoted to do, or at least that the verdict at this point. For example, I took a PPT file with LOTS of embed videos, sound, etc., and created a PDF, and it automatically converted all the files to flash, and it plays beautifully on any computer with Reader 9 installed.
Bad news: The file is HUBE, like 175 MB! I know my mpg files were big to start with and was hoping converting them to flv would reduce the size. I know GIGO, but was wondering if there are any tricks to reduce the size in additional to "save as" recommendation.
While it's great to have a PDF of my PPT, the only way I could share it would be on a server or send it via CD.
Ideas?
Thanks,
Ed
