Problem Converting styles to PDF bookmarks

I am using Word 2003 and Acrobat 8 Professional
I have a Word document that is using the Heading 1 style

Conversion settings - enabled
Add bookmark to PDF
Enable accessibility and reflow with tagged Adobe PDF
Enable Advanced tagging
Convert Word Headings to bookmarks with an X
all other word headings and custom styles are deselected

When I choose to convert to Adobe PDF (from menu) the PDF is created and opens in Adobe. I click to turn on bookmarks and the list is empty.

Please help

Thanks so much
Allison

Hi kabrice,
Using the information you provided I have tried to replicate what you describe.
However, I have not been successful in that Heading 1 bookmark consistently comes over to the PDF file.

If you have an opportunity to do so, perhaps you'd look over this PDF that outlines what I've done and post back comments to this thread.
