Problems with Calculate Fields

I have a simple calculation. 12 fields added together to equal a field that is part of another calculation. The other calculation is functioning correctly. The calculation adding the 12 fields is functioning but automatically doubling the value of each individual field. I have no javascript experience, simply using the Calculate Field option in properties in Acrobat 9 Pro.

My Product Information:
Acrobat Pro 9.2, Macintosh

Check if you have duplicates of the same field in your document, ie. more than one field with the same name.

Thank You! I didn't have duplicate field names but field names that started with the same word. I renamed these fields and success!

Let me guess: it was something like "field.1", "field.2", "field.3", etc. Right?
Acrobat uses the dot as a special symbol to create copies of the same field.

Yes. I thought copies of the same field were fields that autopopulate with the same info. Thanks again, you save me alot of time and headache. : )
