Problems converting MS Word docs to PDF files

When trying to convert MS Word docs to .pdf files via Outlook 2003 an “Attach as Adobe PDF Conversion Error” window pops up with this error message:

“PDFMaker cannot convert the selected file. Would you like to attach this file in original format?”

MS Word docs can be converted to pdf files using the Acrobat interface, but as the process completes, a “Create Adobe PDF” window pops up with this error message:

“Unable to convert PDf file”
“Invalid Page range or conversion setting parameters”

The default printer is an HP Laser Jet 1320 printer. Changing the default printer drivers from Post Script to PCL 6 then PCL 5 had no affect.

This started occurring after upgrading to Acrobat Standard v8.0 from Acrobat Standard v6.0

Yes, I'm also having trouble with converting a Word document to a PDF file. It converts the first page nicely... and that's all. In a 12 page document, this is not what I need done!

Please help!! My client doesn't have a great deal of patience!

Thanks,
Dot

Save the email or attachment as a Word Doc file.

Turned out to be more complicated than that. I finally found out... in the Distiller, I had set it to Postcard. When I changed it back to Standard, all 12 pages got converted to PDF, no problem.

Sheesh! Took 5 hours to work that one out!!

I get this message when attempting to convert a word document to Acrobat PDFMaker (page has text and flow chart with a oval circle around the half page flow chart):

"an error occurred while creating a temporary file: Word was unable to write some of the embedded objects due to insuffieient memory or disk space."
