Problems with printing Excel -- creates multiple files

For some reason when I print Excel docs with multiple worksheets in Adobe (8.0) it will print, say, 6 worksheets as 1 PDF and 3 worksheets as a 2nd PDF. Real pain because then I have to combine them. I am selecting print "entire workbook" on the print screen. Can't figure out what is causing this problem.

I have this exact same problem and have had it for some while.

I have tried different pdfing software, on different computers using different installations of excel. The problem seems to be some setting in the excel file itself.

I have identified that it occurs sometimes after a sheet is inserted into the excel workbook. I myself did not generate the origonal workbook, so i am not sure what was done prior to inserting a new worksheet

As far as i can figure it out this is the process which has the error:

1) create new excel doc with multiple worksheets
2) (do something here dunno what it is but it's causing problems!!!)
3) insert a new worksheet
4) pdfing the workbook will now split into multiple pdf files, occuring at where the new worksheet was inserted.

note: if printed out to a printer it will print fine, this only occurs when pdfing

not sure if this is a pdf problem, or an excel problem

need help!
