Some recipients of my pdf attachments cannot open them. If I use another computer in the office, they can open the pdf attachment. Both computers have the same version of Acrobat Standard 6.0. I am creating the pdf file using the PDF printer driver. Perhaps it is an Outlook email problem, but most people CAN open the files. Can you help? Thanks, Jeannine

My Product Information:
Acrobat Standard 6.0.1, Windows

Hi Jeannine --

The problem isn't likely related to Outlook.

Can you create the file using the PDFMaker? Or from within Acrobat?

I suggest you repair the program to see if that helps. Choose Help > Repair Acrobat Installation.donna.

I don't understand, "Can you create th file using the PDFMaker? Or from within Acrobat? This is what I do:
From an application, I hit print and and choose the "Adobe PDF" as the printer. It generates the file into pdf and opens the document in Acrobat. I close Acrobat and send the file as an attachment.
Thanks, Jeannine

Hi,

If you still create corrupted pdf files, you can try a utility called Advanced PDF Repair to repair your PDF file. It works rather well for my corrupt PDF files. Its web address is http://www.datanumen.com/apdfr/ Hope this helps.
