Removing and Replacing a page in a PDF Form "do not have sufficient pe

Hey,

I am trying to remove one page from a pdf form that does not have any form fields and replace it with a page that also has no form fields. When I try to remove the page it says "You do not have sufficient permission to perform this task." Acrobat says the same thing when I try to drag the new page in (as single page PDF).

Any way to get around this other then completely recreating the pdf form in Live Cycle?

My Product Information:
Acrobat Pro 8.0, Windows

Does the PDF have any security applied to it? See the lower left corner for a locked pablock or look as the PDF's properties description.

Does the PDF have "Extended Reader Rights" applied?

Was the PDF created using LiveCycle Designer?

Thanks for your reply...

There is no lock on the left corner or anywhere for that matter.

Not sure how to check for Extended Reader Rights...

I believe it was created in LiveCycle, but I cannot confirm; pretty sure it was however.

If you look at the PDF's properties, you should be able to see the "Creator" appliction name and the rights are listed on the security tab of the PDF's propties pop-up window.

PDF Producer: Acrobat Distiller 8.1.0

"No Security"

Printing: Allowed
Document Assembly: Not Allowed
Content Copying: Allowed
Content Copying for Accessibility: Allowed
Page Extraction: Allowed
Commenting: Not Allowed
Filling of form fields: Allowed
Signing: Not allowed
Creating of Templates: Not Allowed...

So will I be able to remove a page and then add a new one without doing it all over (again the page has no form fields on it)?

Hi kopertone,

Since several items are marked "Not Allowed" this implies the Enabling Rights have been applied to the PDF. You will need to save a copy of the PDF to remove the rights, then work on the copy.

Hope this helps,

Do I save as copy in Acrobat Pro? I don't see an option to do so... I did in Reader but had no luck...

I can't believe how difficult this is!
