Removing ugly red boxes around OCR suspects

I just wasted the past 2 hours trying to turn off the OCR Suspects option, to completely no avail. Although I recognize the need for this feature, I have no need for it at this time and just want to disable it. Except I can't. Ugly red boxes surround every single OCR suspect on every page of every scanned document. And every time I scan another document, or re-scan a previous one, I'm subjected to more red boxes all over again. I'm completely in the dark here and very close to reverting to a previous version of Acrobat to retain my sanity. If anyone knows how to remedy this, I'm all ears. Thanks and greatly appreciated.

Baraka,

In Acrobat on the right click Recognize Text and make sure Find all Suspects is not dark grey. Click it once and the red boxes are on, click it again and they are off. Let me know if this works.

Kelly,

Thank you for getting back to me on this so quickly. I could have sworn I tried this. After all, it was the most obvious thing anyone could do in this situation. Maybe I'm an idiot after all. Either way, this problem is fixed and I haven't come across any others.

Much appreciated!
