Repeating Pages when creating from multiple files

I'm using Acrobat 7.1.4 and when I select 4 different distinct pdf files and use the "combine with Acrobat" feature, I get a file that has page 1 correct, page 2 correct, and then pages 3 and 4 are actually page 2.

Everything looks good when I preview the selection but when the files are combined I get this problem. Even if I drag and drop from two windows (using the page view tab) a page it is inserted but it simply copies the proceding page.

I've applied all updates and tried a couple of other work arounds with the same results. Has anyone else seen this? Is this a bookmark issue or a conflict with another program?

With Acrobat Forms, fields with the same name share the same properties. If you are going to combine or add additional pages with the same field names, one may need to rename the form fields on the added pages prior to combining.

Have you looked at other methods to collect the data from the forms?

You got me down the path I needed to go. Simple work around was to simply "print" them to another .pdf file and effectively remove the form data (which you correctly pegged my files containing). Unless you have another idea...I'm going to go that route! Thanks for getting me down the correct path.
