I have a large document, and in the footer of the word document I have inserted a date block that shows the current date. When converting to PDF this field becomes static. How do I fix it to stay current?

Thanks

MicroSoft Office use MS VBA and this is not translated to Acrobat JavaScript. You will have to not use the MS Office footers, but add footers using Acrobat JavaScript to add foorters from text or use Acro Forms fields and modify the text with Acrobat JavaScript.

The nice thing about Acrobat JavaScript, is it has not been replaced since it was introduced in version 4.

How about that it works like just the way I wanted it to.

Thank you very much

When using the insert date function for adobe headers and footers, do you have to update this file daily or will it update automatically?
