I need to know if I have to upgrade my version. I used to always receive my efaxes in .pdf form, and I could save as whatever file name I wanted. Now it is often grayed out. Do I need to upgrade my version?

I don't think the problem is related to Acrobat. Are there any recent changes in your efax program?
As long as you have the Adobe PDF Printer driver installed (part of Acrobat 7 and 8 installations), you can use Save As.
