CS3 Design Premium, Acrobat 8.1 will not import from scanner, "Scanner Options" is dimmed out, Photoshop CS3 will import from the scanner and will create PDFs which can be opened in Acrobat 8.1, I've checked Preferences and don't see anything, what's wrong?

It may be a bug in v8.1 of Acrobat or you may need to check your scanner developer's Web site for an updated driver. I'd start with that to see if you can find a solution to the problem.

If an updated driver doesn't solve the problem, you might check the user forums to see if a bug has been identified or a work around has been offered by another user.

Thanks for your response. I resolved my problem by calling Adobe Support, support was in English and immediately identified my problem as a conflict in the Start Up menu, we disabled the culprit and everything is working fine now. Funny, I could scan from Bridge and Photoshop just fine, only not Acrobat, he said there were known scanner conflicts with Acrobat and other things in the Start Up menu.
