Scanning - Dimensions

I am in Sydney Australia and have just purchased Acrobat Standard 8.

I have attempted to scan an A4 document but no matter what settings I have (e.g. A4Letter) it just seems to use USLetter and cuts off the bottom part of the document.

What is the problem?

The problem is Acrobat itself, try to scan with your usual scanning software, save the image file, then open it with Acrobat.
(Waiting for the next "minor" upgrade...)

the 8.1 was released but the problem is still there
