Acrobat 7 Professional - Scanning dimensions:
After having no problems scanning document into Acrobat the Acrobat program has now decided to scale the width of the resulting document in half. I have scanned an A4 document (210mm x 297mm), the result in PDF page size is 105mm x 297mm. Scanning into other applications is OK. I must have changed something in the Acrobat software, but have no idea what and how to reverse this change.

My Product Information:
Acrobat Pro 7.0.9, Windows

If you can give me some more details, I will try to help. What is the scanner type? Do you preview the scan with the TWAIN dialog?
I scan thousands of files into PDF.

Hello Tom,
I am using a Canon LIDE35 scanner under Windows XP Pro SP2. Actually I am using it quite frequently for scanning documents into the PDF format and have done so a couple of times without any problems the very day just before something went wrong. I have checked the scanner, e.g. by scanning into other programs (PaintShop Pro, OmniPage OCR). No problems. I must have inadvertently changed some setting of Acrobat, but like most of the times with Acrobat the way to undo a step is different from reverse initial way. To me it looks like some scaling problem since the width of the PDF is exactly half of the original size, however the scaling is not done by the scanner. It must be Acrobat. But where?
