Task Bar Disappears

In Acrobat 8.0, when any pdf file is opened, the task bar disappears. How do I prevent this?

Acrobat won't do this. I would check your Windows settings.

Acrobat does do this. Would you like me to send you a screen shot? Your answer doesnt help at all.
