Text error message

I was forwarded a PDF made by someone else and I get an error message: The font contains bad/widths. The document will be posted on a website and although it appear okay when viewed/printed, the message may confuse users. Can I remove the message OR how does the originator eliminate the problem causing the message

I suggest changing the font in the original doc to a safe font (arial, san serif, etc.) and compile it again with Acrobat.
