Hi,everyone!
I am a student of University.I pay $85 for each of my ebooks and have my UoP password and username to open them.
The problem is that I want to move them to my kindle dx which does not support the password part of the pdf file. How can I remove the password protect from this file. Each page is password protected, but I only have to put in my password one time and it opens the whole ebook. However, on the kindle dx, the cursor does not go to the username or password box, so i can't open it on my kindle.I tried buying and using a PDF restrictions remover but all it does is say "Restrictions Removed" but the password protect is still on when I transfer it to the kindle.
Any suggestions of what product to use or what to do?
Pls help!!!
Thank you so much in advance.

We do not condone nor will we provide any help with the removal of protection from PDF files owned by someone else. These eBooks are not yours, and bypassing protection measures applied by a copyright holder is a crime.

Hi UVSAR,

I guess you are talking from USA, but here and in most of European countries it's lawful (for private use only, of course).

There's a difference between the right to make a personal copy of a work (which is granted by the copyright laws of many countries) and the bypassing of electronic copyright protection measures (i.e. the password on a PDF file). As this is in effect a global forum (Adobe is a US company but AUC has visitors from all over the world) questions on legality are normally considered in terms of the least-permissive territory. Irrespective of what may be permitted in specific countries, these forums do not promote, advertise or provide instructions on the removal of PDF file protection. If someone wants to do it, they can find information elsewhere - not here.
