Ok so I got a new position in a different department that has really old computers. SO I have been going around doing updates and cleaning off older versions of what I thought was adobe reader 5.0 as well as other stuff. We one of my users asked me today what he was no longer able to click on a icon when he is in work to convert to PDF. Well it turns out they had versions of Adobe acrobat 4.0 for use of converting to pdf files. This is the software that I found left over from the last guy that ran this operation. So I decide to realod adobe acrobat 4.0 on this guys machine to try and fix it but the button is there but it doesnt convert. Anyone got an idea for me? Keep in mind there is no money for purchasing new software!

Check in Word to see if the PDFMaker macro is listed.

Hi aguzman,
It;s a pity you didnt specify the platform Acrobat in installed on.

I assume you meant "re-installed" when you said "reload".

You may have to uninstall Adobe 4.0, and do a registry scan for any other Acrobat 4 "residues" and remove them.
If that doesn't solve it, try installing Acrobat 4 on another machine and see if you get the same results.
