Vector output broken with Acrobat PDF printer

I have been experiencing an interesting issues with vector output to PDF from Revit and AutoCAD (both from Autodesk) and ArchiCAD (Graphisoft).

The issue relates to the accuracy of of the vector output. Where plans are concerned, there are rarely issues as vertical/horizontal straight lines seem to be handled well.

Where complex curves/logos are concerned and plans on angles, the output is terrible. By terrible, i mean that there are off axis lines and numerous extra points along seemingly simple vector paths.

I am confused, when using the print driver (not export/Save as) from InDesign and Illustrator, vector graphics are perfect, and as expected.

I find it frustrating that this occurs from multiple vendors?

Is there any way of uploading examples to this thread?

Thanks for your time.

My Product Information:

BUMP!!?!

I have been experimenting and Revit can output fine to dwf, dwg, dxf, etc so it seems that the problem lies in the Acrobat Printer Driver.

How do I go about making a format support request to Adobe? Their product does not function as advertised...

BUMP

Any Ideas anyone?

I would like to send a formal support request. Can any one tell me if this is possible and how it happens?

Actually, the AdobePDF PostScript printer driver instance is simply using the standard Windows PostScript driver (shipped with Windows by Microsoft) to generate PostScript from GDI output print commands issued by the application and then funnel same to Acrobat Distiller. If you were to e-mail some sample PDF files with these defects along with (a) the joboptions file you use as well as (b) a capture of the PostScript (use the "to file" option in the driver) generated before it is distilled, I'd be glad to take a quick look at this for you.
