I have a form into which I have added a jpg of my signature. The signature is placed where I want it in the .doc file. When converted to pdf I can see it move down approximately 1/2 inch, and the result pdf has it in this new location. After the convert the .doc has it in the original location.

I am running XP 2002 SP3, Acrobat Pro 9.2.0.

My Product Information:
Acrobat Pro 9.2, Windows

Try setting the Adobe PDF printer as your default prior to creating your PDF from Word.

Thanks, that did it. Strange seeing the graphic move in the .doc file just as the pdf is being created, then jump back.

Word will reflow your document based on the default printer. This is an option you set/unset in Word. Tools > Options >Compatibility tab "Use printer metrics to lay out document".
