System fonts (without licensing restrictions) are embedded in the document at the time of PDF creation using the PDFMaker or Acrobat Distiller.

Word 2003 has a pull-down menu, "Adobe PDF" with the only appropriate choice, "Convert to Adobe PDF." Isn't this the correct way to convert from Word to PDF?
The only missing fonts are MS system symbol fonts (curly quotes, for example), and a font called TURKEY.TTF which is not license restriced.
I have no program called "PDFMaker." I do have Acrobat Distiller but can't figure out how to use it.
