Word (with linked text boxes)to PDF results question

I am working on a template for a newsletter in Microsoft Word. I am using linked text boxes for the page layouts. When I convert my newsletter to PDF and view my results, when I have the Hand tool selected in my newsletter PDF, and I click over a liked text box, or even a Word style, Adobe zooms in; I cannot hover over a link in a text box and get a mail to: or www mouseover. Is there something in my conversion settings that will allow me to hover over text boxes normally without the zoom?

My Product Information:
Acrobat 6, Windows

By default in Acrobat 7 and 8 viewers you don't need links specified for Acrobat to recognize mailto: and www URL links. Just leave them alone in Word and don't bother setting up the links. Acrobat 7 and 8 are intelligent viewers and interpret the links from text without having links defined.

What you're getting with the zoom feature sounds like an Article thread. If you have the PDF created use the Article tool and delete all articles. In Acrobat 8 you can open the Preferences and turn off using the Hand tool for reading articles.

If converting a new Word document go to the Conversion settings and enable the option for converting hyperlinks.
