Word to PDF conversion funnies

I have been converting Word files to PDF quite a lot. The Word document has four columns across on two pages in landscape mode. Every once in awhile I get the following situation: The titles at the top of the columns in Word appear at the bottom of the previous columns in the PDF. I finally got the PDF conversion to work when I printed to Adobe PDF instead using the one-step button.

My Product Information:
Acrobat Standard 7, Windows

You are experiencing the dreaded Word reflow issue. The best solution is to close Word, set the AdobePDF printer as the default, and then restart Word and open your Word file.

This should keep PDFmaker from messing with your formatting.
