I am converting a Word doc that has embedded graphics in it to PDF with Acrobat 8.0 Professional. I can't get the graphics to show up clearly. They are graphs and the text looks like it was done with a fat tip marker. I can't read it at all. What are the settings that will make the text clear? I don't care about the file size.
You don't say where the graphs originate from. If they are done within an Office program such as Word or Excel, you may find the graphs don't always display a high resolution since they are highly bitmapped, as seems to be the issue for you.
Try using a higher-quality conversion option to compensate for the bitmaps resolution. Choose Acrobat > Change Conversion Settings to open the Acrobat PDFDMaker dialog box. Choose a high quality conversion setting from the dropdown box, such as Press Quality.donna.
