I am running Acrobat Professional 6.0, Windows XP, and Word 2003.
I am converting Word documents to PDF. In the Word docs I have dates that are underlined. The date format is "August 7th...". In Word, the "th" automatically becomes small and superscript, which is fine as the whole thing is underlined. Now... when I convert to PDF the "August 7" portion is underlined but then the superscript "th" gets it's own underline. The result looks very disjointed.
Can anyone out there tell me if there is a setting I should check so that I get all of the text with one underline? I have all bookmark settings and heading settings unchecked. The documents are very large with lots of pictures, so I wanted to cut down on conversion time.
I am desperate for help with this. Thank you for any you can give.
Jen
Try to manually set the type font and superscript in Word. There may be a problem translating the font characters that Word uses automatically to superscript the type.
