Hi,
Im new to Adobe 9 pro, so I create portfolios and binders depending on my requirements. But most of my clients cannot access the documents because they use older versions ie 5 6 7 etc.
I cant figure out how to save my pdfs in a format that suits my clients from ad 9 and currently I have portfolios and binders in ad 9 but would like to backward them so I can be sure the can be read in a correct manner.
Can anyone tell me how ? Ive gone through the help but its unclear to me.Thanks

You can use the PDF Optimizer or the Reduce File Size operataions to set the level of the PDF version compatabilty.

Yes thanks for that I can see it now but Im wondering about another problem
For ease of access some clients desire folders containing the pdfs so the can take whats relevant to them.
So I will have folders with possibly sub folders within subfolders etc
My problem is that I would have to click into the pdf fully to convert it backward and some of my documents would be large so this would be confusing and tedious to do individually.

A)Is it possible to optimise folders of pdfs containing more folders of pdfs
Is there a way around this that Ive missed

B)And can I avoid this from the start by saving my documents as I go along in the older version desired ? Thanks again.
