I accidently lost my _response file. Is there any way to create a new _response file from either acrobat.com or from the _distributed file?
 
.. or is the data in the responses lost forever?

No i haven't found a solution, and I even talked to the presenter of Acrobat X i Copenhagen last week. She told me, that she did not know of a solution. Nor is the problem fixed in Acrobat X version. Sad but true.
