Users at our firm want to post PDF Portfolios to our intranet but they need to search for terms across all of them. Is it possible, using our intranet's search (Verity, I believe), to search the contents of all the Portfolios? I have not been able to search even one unless I go into it and search within Adobe.

I've looked through online help and forums, but haven't seen this particular issue. From reading through articles about using/making Portfolios, I suspect the answer is no. But I'd like to find out for sure. We have Acrobat 9.1.2.

Thanks in advance!

Webbo,

You may need to check with Verity. Searches only look for content in the active PDF Portfolio, not across multiple Portfolios. You could try creating a Catalog Index and embedding the index into each PDF Portfolio.

I've created a pdf portfolio in Acrobat X, and would like to give access to it through the web browser to my clients. I would really like my clients to be able to use the acrobat search function while viewing the portfolio on-line. Is this possible?

Add the keywords from the individual files to the overall protfolio PDF.
