Hello,
i'm not sure if this has been answered elsewhere, but i need a solution to create a link from a PDF-Document into another Portfolio-PDF-Document. The linked document should be open in a new acrobat window - not in the same window. How it works?

I use the link tool and make a link action " go to a page view in another doc", set the view and edit the link action again. Under the pulldown i can use the option "open targetdocument in: new window"
But this funktion doesn't work.?!
(Create link with link tool>add action>go to a page view in another doc> set link> edit action> open targetdocument in: a new window)

has anyone comes across this issue and there is knowing a fix?

may i use a JavaScript in the link action?

I use Acrobat 9 Pro on Win XP SP3.

I'm having the same problem trying to link an index pdf to a page within another pdf in a seperate section, but for it to open in a new window. but it's not allowing me to do this.

Additionally, is it at all possible to create a link that will open a folder in the portfolio?
