Hi
I am using Acrobat 9 Pro, version 9.4.6 and having issues uploading pdf portfolios for sharing. They are large files and do not know if there is a size limit.

I have optimize the files but they are still large.

I am an interior designer sending a specification book for review.

Thanks
Susanne

Acrobat.com Morkspaces have a file limit of 100MB, irrespective of the type and if you have a subscription or not. Subscribers to the Adobe SendNow service can use it to send files up to 2GB, but the free plan again only allows files up to 100MB.

it is still freezing.

I have two files

one is 87,743KB
and the other is 174,585KB

I will have to optimize again, maybe. However if I reduce the file size it ruins the visual, looks horrible.

any suggestions?

The first one should fit on Acrobat.com, the second won't - but you shouldn't be compressing the documents to fit the distribution method, you should be working the other way round (especially with a proof). If the file needs to stay at 174MB, find a method that supports sending files that big (a subscription to SendNow, or a free account at one of the ad-funded hosting services like mediafire.com)
