Portfolio not uploaded due to no server connection

When trying to email a portfolio to a client, continually get error that there is a problem with connecting to server. My internet connection is up and functioning as I can go to various websites with no problem. help!

How can I get a new portfoilio sent to a client? I have tried several times and get the same "server error" message.
