Hi,
Im trying to convert a word document to a pdf for use in a portfolio. I have chosen a page color around the image in word doc, but converting to PDF onto desktop the page color is not transferring correctly and is defaulted to a white color ? Using AC9Pext Im importing the word doc from desktop to a newly created portfolio but again the original page color is not correct? I have taken a look at the AC9 bible but I dont see an answer on intial scans? So basically I need to convert word documents to pdf's which will carry the orginal page color over to pdf.

Also when I convert a doc or webpage to pdf the resulting size is three times too big for A4 screen viewing, how can I set for A4 pdf result?

All good advice welcome.

Hi,

What color is the page in Word, is it a tint color or a pale color?

You could try going into the preferences in Acrobat, and in the Accessibilty Tab, there is a check box called, Replace colors. If that is ticked, turn it of and see what happens, That does turn light colors white to help the legibility of the PDF

I am having trouble converting a Word .doc into a .pdf file. I get an error message that the PDFMaker files are missing. I have tried everything I know to get it to work, but to no avail. Can you help?
