Acrobat 8 not printing multiple copies

I have Acrobat 8.1.3. and an HP LaserJet 2200D, using the "HP LaserJet 2200 Series PCL 5" driver. When I issue a Print command, I always get only one copy, no matter what number I put into the Print dialog box's "Copies" field.

With the various non-Adobe programs that I use, the Copies field works correctly. Is this a known problem, and is there a fix?
