Hi,
I have this problem with acrobat 8.0 standard.I have a user form using visual basic on my application which have a active control of acrobat.I try to print the detail on this acrobat object,it does print but there is also this problem of the acrobat applcation opening up by itself.Is there any way that i can prevent the application from popping up whenever i print any pdf from my own application

Seeing that you are printing a PDF, Acrobat/Reader has to open to handle the PDF rendering before being sent to the printer.

However, it sounds like the "hidden" or "quiet" manner this should operate might have a bug in it.

I would first check your code to see if you are passing the print command to Acrobat/Reader using the "quiet" parameter. If you are, I would then suggest you report this as a bug.
