I just got Acrobat 9 Pro, but the pdfs that I save from it cannot import into Kodak Preps imposition software. It works ok with Acrobat 8 Pro.

What is the difference between Acrobat 9 and 8 Pro pdf files?

Hi Milton,

This is interesting since Adobe does not own the PDF specification any more and they shouldn't really be adding any extra spice into PDFs from Acrobat 9? Are these print PDFs - PDF/X or some other variant? You might wish to use a PDF/X profile against your problem files to see if there's anything else hidden in there?

Let us know, this is interesting.

Best regards,

Jon

I've been using Acrobat since v1.0 and still get amazed by its power. An Acrobat ACE since 1999

I checked the version, both are 1.6 Acrobat 7.x.
Both are not PDF/X or PDF/A.
I ran the profile "Sheetfed Offset" and that worked. There wasn't anything strange that I could tell with the results except that it converted to PDF/X1a.
