Acrobat v9 printing issues on selected printers/drivers

Our company has an issue involving some printers/drivers that are not working correctly with Adobe v9.1.2 but do work with v8.1.3. These are issues where the pages print blank unless a partner selects "print as image". Oddly, they are not all image files; some are true PDF files.

So far, the only printers/drivers I know of that have the issue are the Toshiba Estudio 5500 and 723. I am trying to find out if other printers/drivers have the same problem.

Does anyone know of issues where users are having trouble printing from v9.1.2 without using print as image?

Hi Steve, It's not just you. We have a Toshiba Estudio 4500 and recently upgraded to Acrobat 9.0 and now struggle to print anything over 5 pages. Even if we print "as image", it still lags. We had our Toshiba rep here today and so far, he's been unable to find any fixes. Have you found anything yet?
