I believe your PDF Printer may be corrupted, it runs Acrobat Distiller in the background. You could try Help > Repair Acrobat Installation in Acrobat 9 or try un-installing and re-installing Acrobat.

Did you try re-installing Acrobat? Illustrator is warning you that it can't find Distiller, which is the program used when you Print to the Adobe PDF Printer. You could also try File > Save As in Illustrator and select Adobe PDF, this doesn't need Distiller to create the file.
