Adding printer marks adds multiple copies of font

Using Acrobat 9.4.6 on XP: When I add printer marks to a 3MB file, Acrobat adds literally hundreds of copies of the font Myriad Pro, which was not otherwise in the document, so that the file size balloons from 3MB to over 60MB. How can I prevent this?

My Product Information:
Acrobat Pro 9.4.3, Windows

I haven't seen this one before. Can you send me the file so that I can test? You can publish a link to it on acrobat.com and post that link url here.

I extracted 50 pages from the pdf for ease of handling then added printer marks to that file with the same results (though the number of copies of the font was proportionally lower):
BeforePrinterMarks.pdf (280K): https://acrobat.com/#d=59HYfoRcPm1b1o0H9PRgOQ
AfterPrinterMarks.pdf (3.5MB): https://acrobat.com/#d=tcas3LY5NIU0CiULNeanLQ
