Adobe PDF printer issues

I have a user that has a new computer and a fresh install of Adobe 9 Professional with all updates. Every single time the user prints any document to the Adobe PDF printer it automatically rotates the document to clockwise landscape. I have checked all of the Adobe PDF printer settings and the documents settings and there is nothing that tells it to rotate to landscape. Help Please.

My Product Information:
Acrobat Pro 9.3.1, Windows

I guess we should start by verifying you've looked into the various settings?

1. In the Adobe PDF Printing Preferences dialog box, portrait is selected on the Layout tab.

2. On the Adobe PDF Settings tab of the above-referenced dialog box, click EDIT next to the Default Settings option.
- In the Auto-Rotate Pages drop down list, try the different settings (Off, Collectively by File, Individually)
- For the Default Page Size, check that the dimensions are in the correct fields (e.g. Width = 8.5, Height = 11 if using Letter sized paper. If it says Width = 11, Height = 8.5, that might cause the error)

3. Check to make sure that the application(s) doesn't have its own print dialog box with extra options that work with Acrobat in rotating the final print 90 degrees (I know that InDesign and Photoshop sort of have this option).

If these are the things you mentioned already having checked, then I'm at a loss.

I will double check all those things again and report back.
