Hi,

Recently, my Acrobat 8.1 Pro prints all images in any PDF file as nearly all black making it impossible to see image contents. Image also appear extremely pixelated. Other graphics such as logos appear OK. All texting is OK too.

It occurs no matter which of our 5 printers (all different models) I choose to print to.

If I print same PDF's from any other PC than mine, prints are 100% OK.

Must be some file error on my PC.....any good ideas?

Thanks in advance
Carsten

Since you said same file works on other workstations...

1) I suspect you need to check your advance output settings and make sure you are not outputting low-res on images

2) As for images completely filled with black could be caused by Advanced > Output > Negative checked?Hope this helps.

Thanks for the input. With"output" you don't refer to PDF creation, do you?
My problem is only with printing PDF's, not by creating them. They all appear OK on screen, just not on print.

I will check tomorrow at work, and give feedback of result.

By "output" I'm referring to the print window, there's an advance button and in it a host of options that can affect your printing result.

Found the "error".

Print Color as Black was ticked in the Print box.

Thanks for the help.
