I need some guidance with Adobe Reader 8 capabilities. I would like to know if there is a way to get certain paper size automatically selected for larger print outs?
I am actually defaulted to a printer that has one type of paper/dimension -8.5x11. And when I have larger print outs requesting for a paper size of 11x17, I have switch the printer (IKON) and select the paper size...isn’t there a way for Adobe Reader 8 to automatically detect the paper size? Or is this the way it is because I don’t have it defaulted to the IKON-that has the paper size I need?

Try this. From the menu bar, click Edit, Preference, then click (from the list on the left) New Document, look at the Default Page area and select the desired page size from the drop down list then click OK.
