Booklet Duplex Printing - Unwanted page rotation

I am having trouble printing a booklet on a duplex printer. The double-side pages are not oriented in the correct direction. I've tried the following settings:

PRINT
Page Scaling: Booklet printing
Booklet subset: Both sides
Auto-Rotate Pages: checked
Binding: Left

PAGE SETUP
Paper Size: US Letter
Orientation: Landscape

PRINTER
Printer: Sharp MX-2610N
Two-Sided: Short-Edge binding (switching to Long-Edge binding and Off both yield the same results)

Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

Yes.

When I print double-sided, I have no problem setting the correct orientation, either long-edge or short-edge binding.
However, when I print a booklet, no matter what I set the prints always come out with a long-edge binding.
