Can't "Print Color as Black" in Mac-based Acrobat Pro 8

Hello,

I'm sorry if this is a repetitive post; I searched the forum and wasn't getting clear answers.

I am working on a mac and using Acrobat 8 Professional.

I would like to print my color document as a composite print, in all black.

But all I can get to print are grayscale prints that print color in varying shades of gray.

I checked Acrobat Help and it tells me to select the "Print Color As Black" in the print dialog box, but this selection is not available on a mac.

Any suggestions? It seems like it should be incredibly simple.

Thanks!

Jim

Hi Jim,

Instead of that command, try going into the 'Advanced' section of the PRINT box and then setting the 'Color Profile' as Gray or Gamma instead ..

Once configured you can save as a print preset for future use ...

Cheers,

Jon
